Paris Longchamp

Recognized worldwide for being the stage of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, one of the most important equestrian events, the Paris Longchamps racecourse is a true landmark.
The pritzker's Dominique Perrault design is inspired by the gallop of a horse which gives a slight inclination to the entire tribune. A project where the integrated solution of bysteel and bysteel fs was chosen among several because it was the one that gave the guarantees of a perfect compatibility between the two specialized trades.
From the structural steel a spectacular 30m cantilever stands out. This cantilever required special care with the deflections and vibrations of the structural steel. Despite their 200kg, the access doors to the stands glide gracefully on the architectural facades.
